This design challenge hosted by Adobe consisted of a 3-day sprint to name and design an app that turns personal values into actions that have a measurable benefit using technology to make supporting causes more than just a transactional experience. Our idea connected users with survivors of human trafficking on a more personalized level.

I helped create a reading app that teaches English to children from non-English speaking homes to make up for the nationwide shortage of qualified English Language Learning educators in the United States. The team and I did this by identifying holes in the education system, defining business impact and user needs, and creating a fun, interactive, uncomplicated user interface that both children and parents could enjoy outside of the classroom.

My team created a clickable app prototype via Figma that enables you to lower your carbon footprint by booking flights sorted by the lowest amount of CO2 emissions. We did this by hypothesizing an assumption for the modern traveler, proto-persona and iterated persona creation after user interviews and surveys, defining the problem, ideating a solution with a specific feature set and critical path, and ending with prototyping, user testing, and iteration.

My team and I created an app prototype that aims to help underprivileged young adults build skills that will prepare them for Industry 4.0, which will be driven by advances in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies. We conducted a thorough user research analysis that guided us throughout the project to help define the scope, structure, skeleton, and visual design elements with iterations from user feedback testing.
